The 2010 Great Dunmow Carnival is to be held on Saturday 18th. September
Dunmow Carnival is held annually on the third Saturday in September this year's theme will be "FILMS'. For more information of events and contact details please visit the Dunmow Carnival website via the link above.
Procession information: The procession starts at 1:30pm and proceeds through the High Street finishing at the Recreation Grounds.
Everyone is welcome and traditionally Children and Visitors put money into the collection buckets, all profits of the Dunmow Carnival go toward Community Projects.
After the Procession visitors are invited to the Fair, here you will find amusements for kids young and old and a variety of Stalls with games and local produce including the hugely popular Beer Tent. In the Evening the Party starts with a Live Concert. This year we have The Beatles Tribute band and John Prescott as Tom Jones plus many more supporting acts.
Festivities conclude with a Fantastic Firework Finale at after which you will be more than welcome to visit one of the many Restaurants, Pubs or Hotels to complete your fun day.
