The 2010 Great Dunmow Carnival was held on Saturday 18th. September
Dunmow Carnival is held annually on the third Saturday in September this year's theme was "FILMS'. For more information of events and contact details please visit the Dunmow Carnival website via the link above.
Procession information: The procession starts at 1:30pm and proceeds through the High Street finishing at the Recreation Grounds.
Everyone is welcome and traditionally Children and Visitors put money into the collection buckets, all profits of the Dunmow Carnival go toward Community Projects.
After the Procession visitors are invited to the Fair, here you will find amusements for kids young and old and a variety of Stalls with games and local produce including the hugely popular Beer Tent. In the Evening the Party started with a Live Concert. This year a Beatles Tribute band and John Prescott as Tom Jones plus supporting acts.
Festivities concluded with a Fantastic Firework Finale.
