The 2010 Maldon Carnival is to be held on Saturday 7th. August
The Maldon Carnival is held annually on the first Saturday in August and is the culmination of Carnival Week in Maldon, the week starts with the Official Crowning of the 2010-2011 Carnival Queen and Princesses on the Promenade Park at 3 pm on Sunday 1st. Procession Information:
The Procession starts from its assembly in Cross Road at 2.15 pm.
Procession Route:
From Cross Road into Fambridge Road then the High Street and finishing in Mill Road at the Promenade Gates.
Floats too large to enter the Promenade will proceed along Mill Road and back into Cross Road to disperse.
2009 Carnival
The number of floats increased this year making for a really good Procession, lots of people turned out and had a good day, fortunately the rain held off until after all the field events had finished.
