The 2010 Maldon Winter Parade/Carnival is to be held on Saturday 27th. November
The Maldon Winter Parade/Carnival is held annually on the last Saturday in November.

The Parade is held in conjunction with the annual turning on of the lights Ceremony by the Town Mayor of Maldon at 4 pm., it is the Saturday prior to the first of the Thursday night Victorian Evenings held annually in the Town.

Parade/Procession Information:
The Procession starts from its assembly in The Plume School, Fambridge Road at 3.45 pm. The theme is anything Christmas.

Parade/Procession Route:
From Fambridge Road into the High Street, the Parade/Procession stops in the High Street at 4 pm while the turning of the lights Ceremony takes place, it then continues down the High Street finishing in the Lower Plume School car park Mill Road .

Despite being cold and a bit breezy the Parade was a great success and the public came out in numbers to support the event. Although forecast the rain held off until well after the Parade had finished.
