The 2009 Redbridge Carnival was held on Sunday 6th September
The 2009 Redbridge Carnival spanned Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th September at Valentines Park where there was a Funfair, Circus Troupe and lots of stalls and a variety of entertainment to keep everyone entertained well into each evening, the Carnival Procession started in Ilford High Road and was held on Sunday 6th and finished at Valentines Park.
Procession Information:
The Procession involved a walking Procession from Ilford Town Centre which started at 12 noon, then along the High Road to the car park of the former Ilford Swimming Baths where it re-formed into a pedestrian and vehicle Procession.
Procession Route:
From the former Ilford Swimming Baths car park the Procession travelled along the High Road into Clements Road turning right at the top of the newly designed junction then along Cranbrook Road into Melbourne Fields via Valentines and then Melbourne Road.
