The Wickford Carnival held annually on the third Saturday in September, the Procession finishes at Nevendon Park where a large variety of stalls and arena displays make for a really good community event, further details are available by visiting the Wickford Carnival website via the link above.
Procession Information:
The Procession starts from its assembly at Church End Lane at 12.30pm.
Procession Route:
Church End Lane into Swan Lane then the High St., crossing into Nevendon Road and finishing at Nevendon Park.
2009 Carnival
The sun came out along with the crowds for the Carnival, Wickford High St. was really busy as was all the attractions on the field to the delight of the organisers.
